Recently, I e-filed EAD renewal for me. So, there was no issue. Give some more time, like a couple of weeks and if you don't see any change, then call USCIS.

I'm curious if anyone has got multiple RFEs on their I-485 application. I had an EVL RFE last year and wonder about the chances they'll give that (or any other) RFEs again in future.
Any personal experiences?
By multiple RFE I don't mean many questions in 1 RFE letter. I mean USCIS sends you 1 RFE, receives reply and resumes the case and then at a later point in time sends another RFE on the same application.

My lawyer explicity told "NOT" to flipflop even without me asking.
My attorney has asked for the I-485 to be printed:
double sided with Flip to Top option.

1 - YES
2 - H1 & L1 VISA timming duration are counted together for H1B period. I have already went thru this cycle.
3 - Advise to stay on L1A, apply green card and switch to H1B as soon as you are eligible for H1B extention beyond 6 year.

That is what , i don't have any information with me about I140 except the fact that it got approved one year ago and now i applied 485 and got EAD cards also.
IS there any way to get when both employer and attorney is not willing to give it to me ? Or is it really required ?
I dont even have the receipt number.
my point is UCSIS know about approved I- 140 bcz they approved it. Also i am hoping my attorney added some information about the I-140 in my I485 when he applied.. Is that correct ?

Basically I came here to earn some money and to have some good life ( cleaning my bathroom myself -- lol )
The way things are going here in US with Jobs / Economy overall thinking if it is worth to live here and worth to get a US Passport or to keep renewing GC.
I know it all depends on each indivisual perspective and views.. but taught of looking other views on this.

The question should be when is China going to figure out an alternative business model other than depressing currency and exporting to US.
Till that time US can print as much as they want and stick it to the a**es of people who buy us treasuries.
China has nowhere else to go !!!!!

As soon as your wife used EAD, her H4 status was gone.
For you it would still be safe to continue working on H1.
Your advantages are:
1) Having dual status (H1B and AOS) is better than one.
2) You do not have to worry about EADs for yourself.

You can file AOS for her mention both her current H4 status and also inxclude a copy of H1 notice just in case

I hear a lot about Indian's getting positive PDP (TB Skin Test)result. But when I talked to many of my Indian friends, they say they got negative result. Met only one who got positive skin test result.

Hi,
My wife is going to apply for both H4 and H1 visa. Since marriage is in March end, she will come to US on H4 visa. Her H1 visa will be applied as if she were in India. Now her I94 will say H4. Once she gets her H1B, she will have to go out of country to get new I94.
We can go to Mexico to get it stamped and hence get new I94. If for some reason, H1B is rejected, can she still enter the US on H4 visa?

The H1, even if she gets (in the 2009 quota which needs to be applied on April 1st 2008) cannot be used before Oct 2008 as all new H1s can be used only from the month of Oct. That H1B approval will come with its I-94 attached. Once October arrives, she can start working on her H1B. She does not need to go anywhere to get it stamped.
When you go out of USA on vacation the next time, she can have her H1B visa stamped on her passport.

Like many others we have been waiting for our AOS application to be approved for over 2 years. But the strange thing is, I did get an EAD approved but they never called me in for fingerprinting and Biometrics. I know I had to do the non-immigration "registration" that was initiated a few years ago and they had taken my fingerprints and biometrics, is that why they didn't call me in again? since they already have it?
